Siddhartha Foundation Nepal

Through the Siddhartha Foundation Nepal, the funds that are raised in the West are effectively channelled into the education and care projects we are supporting by our sponsorship. The Nepal organisation is a government approved charitable body, in the same way as western based charities. The founder and director is Lama Khenpo Chimed Rinpoche, who is held in high esteem throughout the country.

It is good to have an agency 'on the ground' whose members are both skilled and dedicated. It is the hard work of the Nepali people themselves that has taken the project to where it is now in just under two years and, so long as we can help them with our ongoing financial support we have every confidence that they can continue to build upon their present success.
